    The Tibetan Wheel of Living and Dying

    A 6-week course in Buddhism.

    Led by Dhammavijaya. The Tibetan Wheel of life is an image with the power to transform lives. A map of the spiritual universe? Or a mirror that reveals and challenges the forces that motivate our lives? This popular course will offer insight into the heart of Buddhism and its practical application. Meditation instruction is intrinsic to the course, which also comprises a Day Retreat. Appropriate for both newcomers and those with more experience.

    Cost: £75 (£50 concession)

    Day retreat 10.00am to 5.00pm Sunday 24th October.

    The Transcending Buddha - A Day of Mindfulness

    Maitreyabandhu’s visit continues with a day of mindfulness. After leading the regular Saturday Morning meditation and Buddhism session, his practical exploration of mindfulness will continue after lunch (not included – please bring a vegetarian packed lunch). The day will build upon the material presented in his successful book, Life with Full Attention, adding to it more current reflections and meditations inspired by Sangharakshita’s recent exposition of our tradition’s fundamental philosophical position

    Dharma Seminar Led by Maitreyabandhu

    Padmasambhava’s Advice to the Three Fortunate Women is part of the mysterious and profound tantric text, The Life and Liberation of Padmasambhava. This Canto (As the chapters of the work are termed) consists of the great Gurus’ final teaching to an illustrious woman disciple, which gives a good summary of his presentation of the Dharma. As a devotee of Padmasambhava, Maitreyabandhu is sure to draw out much from the text to rouse and inspire us.

    Cost: £7.50 (£5 concession)

    Full Moon Puja – The Sangharakshita 100 year puja. 7.00pm – 9.00pm

    This month’s puja will incorporate the annual celebration of the Sangharakshita 100 year puja. This is celebrated throughout the Triratna Community and is a great occasion for the expression of our respect and gratitude towards our founder and teacher.
