Suitable for all levels of experience There is instruction on posture for those new to meditation. Ideally timed for lunchbreaks.


Evening Meditation Classes

Wednesday 7.30pm - 9.30pm

£8.00 / £6.00 concession


For those who are new to meditation as well as those familiar with our two basic practices. Different teachers ensure a variety of approaches. We'll have a tea break and ample opportunity to ask questions and advice about meditation and Buddhism.




The two main practices we teach are:



Watching the breath as it comes and goes from the body, allowing the mind to settle and calm.




Developing a kindly attitude towards ourselves and others, leading to greater emotional presence in daily life.





We offer concessionary rates to the following people:

: Unemployed and claiming JSA

: People on a state pension


Weekday and evening meditation and Buddhism classes are all drop-in. No need to book, just come along.



Saturday Sangha Morning is suited to those who are familiar with the meditation practices and want to explore Buddhism.


Saturday mornings include chanting of the refuges and precepts and a longer meditation practice as well as talks and discussions on a range of Buddhist themes.
