Full Moon Puja

Traditional Buddhist event with meditation and devotional practice open to all - experience of puja helpful. This month's puja will take place in context of the Sangha Morning class with emphasis on the Buddha's Enlightenment experience. 3 Vajras
Buddha Day
Sunday 26th May 2013 from 11am. With Sucimani & Dhammavijaya
For Buddha Day this year, we will recreate the experience of sitting beneath the Bodhi Tree at the time of the Buddha's Enlightenment. This was, it seems, not an instantaneous event, but a process of Awakening proceeding through seven weeks. During our celebrations we will engage in practices, and hear stories aimed at evoking a connection with the multiple aspects of the unfolding process of Enlightenment. We hope that doing so will draw us into collectively into a closer relationship with the Enlightening spirit.
We hope, weather permitting, to then process to Lloyd Park for picnic lunch and outdoor celebrations. Please bring vegetarian lunch to share.
During the day we will also bewitnesssing the mitra ceremonies of Paul Greenhalgh and Andy Strudwick.

The Beauty of Mantra
Sunday 30th June 2013 10.30am-4.30pm
A day of soulful singing anf mantra chanting with Mahasukha. No previous experience required. Bring a veggie lunch to share.
