Steering the Deep: Take Your Meditation Further (4-week course)
Saturdays, 28th September to 19th October, 10.30am to 12.45pm
Led by Viryadeva
Suggested donation: £55 / £35 (conc.)
This course aims to give your meditation a boost, helping you maintain an effective practice in the midst of daily life. While retreats create great conditions for meditation, we can deepen our practice without leaving the city.
By taking this course, you can gain a fresh perspective on your meditation practice. If you have an established practice and wish to take it further (or maintain it effectively), this course is for you!
What can you expect?
Over four weeks, the focus will be on reviewing your existing meditation practice. We won’t introduce new techniques; instead, we’ll explore how to take your practice deeper. You’ll be guided to reflect on what’s working and where a spark of creativity could help.
Along with ample time to meditate, there will be opportunities to discuss your practice with others. This can be invaluable in gaining clarity about your meditation experience and how best to approach it.
Who is this course for?
This course is open to all, however, people with an established meditation practice will benefit most from it. If you're new to meditation and Buddhism, take a look at our beginners' courses here.
What do these sessions cost?
All our courses offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £55 / £35 (concession rate) per class, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give.
