Saturday Sangha Morning - Going for Refuge
Saturday 24th April, 10.30am to 12.15pm
Our theme for the next few weeks is "Going for Refuge" - i.e. an effective committment to the Buddhist path and to moving towards making the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) shine more brightly in our lives. How do we do this? What are the different aspects or ingredients of such a committment? What does it actually look like in practice? We'll be exploring eight guidelines that might help answer these questions. This week Taramani introduces the new theme...
Suitable for anyone who has done at least one introductory course with us.
Note: This event is in-person at the Buddhist Centre. You'll have to wear a mask when you're at the Centre, unless you have a medical exception. We are still required to meet social distancing guidelines, so we can only offer a limited number of in-person places. Please book your place to avoid disappointment!
SUPPORTING OUR WORK
We're priceless! All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £5 to £10 per class, depending on your financial situation. We welcome you however much you can afford to give, even if that's nothing at all.
