“Searching for Enlightenment with the Buddha”

Six Wednesdays 1st June to 6th July, 7.15pm to 9.30pm

With Vaddhaka and team

All welcome - in-person at the Buddhist Centre  Our next course is aimed at complete newcomers and also those who’ve been coming along a while who want to keep exploring.

Stories are a vital part of our lives. The story of the Buddha opens a way to find new meaning in life, and maybe change our own life story.

In the first three sessions of this series Vaddhaka will explore the impact of stories on our own lives, as well as the story of why the Buddha left home, and what happened during his search for enlightenment after he left home.

In the second three sessions Vaddhaka will explore what enlightenment might be. What did the Buddha discover when he broke through?  The course will involve guided meditation, talks and discussion.

We’re priceless! All our events are by donation and you can come for free if you need to. But please give what you can to support our work. There is a suggested donation of £60 for this course, but feel free to give less, or more if you can afford it. Thank you.
