When things get stressful, do you distract yourself on your phone, trying to escape from your experience? Do you find yourself wishing for a different life, thinking "if only I had X then I'd be happy"? Do you sometimes over-indulge to fill a sense of inner emptiness? Through ancient Buddhist teachings, we can learn to find more contentment in our day-to-day lives.

What is this course about?

On this 8-week course we will discover how to live from a sense of inner richness, appreciation and contentment.

Our main focus will be on our relationship to pleasure. We will learn the difference between a superficial and short-lived pleasure related to craving, and the deeper pleasure that comes from appreciation. By the end of this course we will be able identify the triggers to our cravings and the habitual behaviours that result from them. With this knowledge, we will have the power…
