Details
What is the Triratna Buddhist Community? What makes it relevant to life in the modern world, and what sets it apart from other Buddhist traditions? Is it the right context for me to practice the Dharma?
On this morning for young people, we'll answer these questions through exploring the six distinctive emphases of the Triratna Buddhist Community.
Guiding us through the morning will be Vajragupta - Chair of the Croydon Buddhist Centre and author of 'The Triratna Story: Behind the Scenes of a New Buddhist Movement'
You're welcome to arrive from 10am, for a 10.30am start. We will finish with lunch (which will be provided), and plenty of time to hang out together afterwards. There's no need to do any reading prior to the event, but you may find it help to read into the six distinctive emphases beforehand.
Open to all aged 18-35, no experience with Buddhism required.
