Have you ever wondered why self-help books don’t actually work?

They might help you become more focused and productive (at least for a while), but they fail you in becoming a happier person.

The Buddha would say that’s because those books are missing the point.

According to Buddhism there is something beautiful that underpins reality, and if we allow ourselves to see this and live accordingly, we will become more fulfilled and confident human beings.

While it is a spiritual path, Buddhism offers a range of practical tools to live a better, happier and more connected life. In our busy, even chaotic, modern world we need these tools more than ever.

Course overview

In this four-week course, you will receive a practical introduction to the Buddhist path and its vision for human life. Cultivating awareness and confidence in the world is more complicated than ever. Listening to meditation apps or self-help gurus will likely not give us the answers we need in the long-run.

Buddhism, however, is a path that is with you for a lifetime, if you allow it. Through meditation and exploring ancient knowledge, this course will start you off on this journey towards a life with more meaning. Within four weeks you will be able to build a strong foundation to a life more aware and connected, with the support of Buddhist teachers and like-minded practitioners.

The course session will run 1pm - 2pm and will be followed by an optional session 2pm - 2:30pm with tea and discussion related to the course session.

Book your place to ensure you receive guided meditation recordings and resources that will help you make the most of the course. You will get weekly home practice recommendations that will deepen your learning and help apply the teachings in your everyday life.
