Details

Join us for a qigong session exploring mindful walking through a variety of tai chi walking practices. We’ll move at different speeds and directions, including walking forwards, backwards, sideways and in zig zags, while developing internal awareness, awareness in relation to others, and awareness of the space around us.

Together we’ll explore the effects of practices such as “pouring” and “mud stepping,” as well as the experience of walking independently and connected with others. The session will also include seated qigong focusing on the feet and legs, with the main emphasis on mindful walking.

Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Please wear comfortable clothing and flat indoor shoes if possible (thick socks are also fine).

Costs

These sessions run on a donation basis - just come along, and donate if you can. We suggest £25 if you're waged or £20 if you're unwaged, but there's no pressure. Whatever you…
