Each year we celebrate the birthday of Sangharakshita, the founder of the Triratna Buddhist Community. Without him, many of us who practice Buddhism within our community wouldn't have found the Buddha’s teachings. It's a time of collective ritual, carrying on a vision to mark this time for 108 years.
This year we will draw on Sangharakshita’s poem Four Gifts and the teachings found in Buddhism for Today - and Tomorrow, a theme being taken up across the Triratna Buddhist Community in 2026. We'll come together for puja and reflections from members of our community.
