Buddha Day Festival (& mitra ceremony)
Saturday 14th May, 10.30am to 1:00pm
Led by Kalyananara and Mokshadarshini, open to all.
We are looking forward to celebrating the festival of Buddha Day on 14 May.
Beginning at 10.30, mitras will help us to celebrate the historic Buddha and his journey to Enlightenment. Taramani will give us a talk, focussing on the awakened Buddha, 'The Buddha as enlightened man and enlightened mind'. As as we move further through the morning we will hear too about the cosmic Buddha, and have opportunities for meditation and puja.
Another cause for celebration is that during the morning we will be having a mitra ceremony.Â
At 1 o'clock there will be a lunch to share - please bring a contribution. People who attend on Zoom are invited to stay and chat or eat their lunch together on Zoom.
Just turn up in-person, or use the Zoom link below.

We're priceless! All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £10 per week, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give.Â
