Buddha rituals are devotional acts of body, speech and mind. One of the key types of Buddhist ritual are pujas and we will have the opportunity to explore and do a puja together. But ritual is not just about pujas.  In fact, we may enter the (shrine) room for a puja, settle into our seats and wait for the ritual to begin.  But, it has already begun. The very way we enter the room has significance and purpose. It is as much a part of ritual as a puja. How we act can in itself be devotional and rich in intention and symbolism.  But to fully connect it is helpful to explore and understand what we are doing and why.  With understanding,…
