Details
Every second and fourth Friday of the month, an evening of shrineroom practice with Punyamati, Shuddhavasin, Leigh Smith, and others. A great way to start your weekend by immersing in meditation and ritual. No need to book, just turn up!
The evenings will consist of Metta Bhavana (approx. 45 mins) and Mindfulness of Breathing (about 30 mins) followed by a 7-fold puja.Â
You are welcome to come just for  the meditations and leave before the puja if that is your preference or practical need.
Meditation and puja are a way of connecting with a higher reality. One of the great things about these practices is that some element of the higher reality we contact remains in the background of our being even after the practice.
You will need some familiarity with mindfulness and metta and be able to meditate for 45 minutes at a time.
**SUPPORTING OUR WORK** Â
We're priceless! All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £5-10 for this event, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give - even if that's nothing at all.
You can donate online by clicking on our "donate" tab, on the top-right of the screen.
