Meditation and the Fire of Imagination - Easter Long Weekend

28th March to 1 April

With Vajragupta and Mokshadarshini

Cost: £289 - £269 (Conc)

According to Buddhism, perception is reality. Our perception of the world is filtered through certain habitual assumptions, expectations, and biases... and this creates our reality. Meditation is about freeing up that usual, habitual, perception and seeing things with more imagination. On this retreat, we will explore how to bring more imagination into our meditation, and into our life. Buddhism is full of images to help inspire us and lift our imagination onto another level. We'll explore some traditional Buddhist images, but also be open to other images that may appear in our meditations that can be full of beauty and significance.  This weekend will be suitable for anyone who has been meditating for a few months or more. It will be good as a way to try out a retreat for the first time, as well as those who've been meditating for some years. The retreat is especially suitable for those who think they have no imagination! You may be surprised by the power of images, colours, sounds, to light up your heart and mind.

Please note, start / finish times are a guide and exact timings will be confirmed nearer the time.
