Sub-35s Winter Gathering
Sunday 18th December, 4pm until late.
Led by Cara, Clem and Kit (Young Buddhist Team)
For anyone sub 35. donation, £10/£8
The young Buddhist team would like to invite anyone sub 35 to a winter gathering and celebration of the festive season. No need to book just turn up.
It's been a lovely coming together as a group of like minded young Buddhists this year and the young Buddhist team would like to continue building friendships and sangha together with a social afternoon & evening filled with good food, games and a little Buddhist ritual as well.
Here's what you need to know:
if you fancy bringing veggie/vegan "trimmings" or extras or desert/pudding to share that would be excellent.
Things to bring: party games, board games, fun activities to share (musical instruments, festive crackers, party hats, festive decorations).
We will hopefully have a bonfire and will have a short Buddhist ritual with some mantra chanting too.
Please note we are not doing anything on our usual first Friday night of the month, 2nd December and the only official event of December is the gathering on the 18th December. The next Friday event will be 6th January.
Dana Economy. All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £10/£5, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give.
