Gambhiralila

Gambhiralila teaches Buddhism and meditation at the Croydon Buddhist Centre. She has an essential role in the smooth day to day running of our buzzing community centre. From charity finances to setting up the shrine room, there's little she doesn't have her hands on around here.

Gambhiralila was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2024, her name means 'play that comes from the depths.'

Teaching experience

Gambhiralila has been supporting classes and courses at the Centre for years, and have started teaching Buddhism and meditation in 2023. She has also led several mantra workshops, sharing her love of mantra at our events and festivals. She runs a weekly study group for women, helping them form a greater understanding of and connection to the Dharma.

Interests

Gambhiralila loves dancing, and has a keen interest in history and archaeology.
