Satyasthana
Young Buddhist Coordinator and Dharma Teacher
Satyasthana teaches Buddhism and meditation at the Croydon Buddhist Centre. He is also the Young Buddhist Co-ordinator - running regular events for people under 35 at the Centre. Satyasthana was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in June 2026. He lives at Aryatara, a semi-monastic Buddhist Community.
Teaching experience
Satyasthana has been on the Sub35s teaching team since early 2023. He has also taught on multiple meditation and Buddhism courses at the Buddhist Centre. Beyond Croydon, he's twice travelled to India to voluntarily train young teachers with the Laksh Foundation, and found himself roped into leading classes at various Indian Buddhist Centres during his travels!
Interests
Satyasthana loves cooking, reading, contact improvisation dance and going on hiking or wild camping adventures.
