Vajragupta
Chair of the Croydon Buddhist Centre and Dharma Teacher
Vajragupta is the Chair of the Croydon Buddhist Centre, with overall responsibility for its spiritual direction. He teaches courses and classes on meditation and Buddhism, and leads a study group for men to help them explore the Dharma in a structured, accessible way. Vajragupta lives at Aryatara, a semi-monastic Buddhist Community.
Teaching Experience
Vajragupta has been teaching Buddhism and meditation for nearly 30 years. He has developed and taught dozens of courses on Buddhism, helping thousands of people deepen their meditation practice. As Chair of the Birmingham Buddhist Centre (1997-2005), he created a thriving urban Buddhist community, offering spiritual leadership to hundreds of dedicated practitioners.
